How long can we live stream in 360 degrees?

For as long as the 360 camera allows. Usually, an hour plus.

How many viewers can we invite to a 360 live stream?

Currently up to 100. However, we are continuously adding to our capability for more live attendees.

Can viewers attending 360 live streams communicate with the person streaming?

Yes! FocusXR has a real-time communication function built into the app. Viewers’ questions are transcribed into text and sent to the platform for the streamer to read as text chat and address the 360 camera with the answers.

Can we record and upload 360 videos from any 360 camera?

Yes! However, we recommend using the Ricoh Theta X or at least a camera with a 4k resolution.

Can I edit 360 videos on the FocusXR Platform?

Yes! By uploading the 360 videos you have recorded, you can use the FocusXR editing suite to add your mixed reality teaching aids.

Can I add AR to a 360 video I recorded?

FocusXR has a library of AR experiences that can be added to your 360 recordings. If a bespoke AR hologram is required, FocusXR can build this for you to use within your library of 360 videos.

How many 360 videos can we store in the Focus XR Library?

Depending on your package, you can store up to 40 hours of 360 mixed reality video resources in your FocusXR Library.

Who owns the IP to the content?

The content creator owns the intellectual property rights to the content they create.

How many people can watch a 360 video at one time?

There is no limit to the number of viewers of recorded content.

Can we record who has attended a 360 Live Stream?

Yes! The FocusXR platform can provide attendance records of attendees.

Can we collect feedback from people who have attended 360 Live Streams or 360 Recorded training?

Yes! If you have invited learners to either a 360 live stream or to view 360 MR recorded content, they will have the option to provide feedback.

Do we have to be technically trained to operate the FocusXR platform?

No. The FocusXR platform is designed to be extremely easy to use without any need for coding or content creation experience.

Do we have to record and edit all our own 360 videos to create training content?

No. The FocusXR filming and editing team can create your content on your behalf for a small fee and then upload it to your account for you. All you have to do is invite your learners.

How can we deploy the FocusXR smartphone app to our learners?

It’s best practice to provide a simple QR code to be scanned by learners. The FocusXR app will then open for learners to select and view VR content they have been invited to.

Does the FocusXR App work on any phone?

Yes! The FocusXR smartphone VR app is compatible with any smartphone. IOS and Android apps can be found on the App and Play stores, plus there is also a web app option.

Do learners need Oculus/Quest or Hololens-type headsets?

No. All 360 live streams and 360 recorded content can be experienced through the FocusXR app.
